About
At Travers Full Power Fitness, we believe training like an athlete is the most efficient way to build strength, confidence, and resilience. But transformation doesn’t stop at the gym—it’s about building lasting habits that upgrade your entire life.
At TFPF, we believe fitness is more than a workout—it’s a pathway to becoming the strongest, most confident version of yourself. Our mission is to help people move, feel, and live better by creating an environment where training transforms more than just the body—it changes lives.
We’re not an everyday gym. We’re a community built on purpose, discipline, and growth. Every program we design blends science-based training, holistic health principles, and real-world practicality. We meet you where you are and help you progress toward your goals in a way that fits your lifestyle—not the other way around.
Our approach goes beyond sets and reps. We focus on helping you reclaim your energy, confidence, and strength—both physically and mentally—so you can perform at your best inside and outside the gym. Whether you’re an athlete, a professional balancing a busy schedule, or someone just ready to feel good again, TFPF gives you the tools, guidance, and accountability to make lasting, meaningful change.
At TFPF, we don’t just train—we transform.

I’m Erik Travers, founder and head coach at TFPF. My passion for fitness and performance was shaped through years of competing as a high school and collegiate athlete. I served as captain of my high school football team, leading us to a championship, and earned recognition as a four-time All-State and four-time All-New England wrestler—ranked among the top 30 in the country. I also became a national powerlifting champion before continuing on to wrestle Division I in college.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and my Master’s in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Throughout my athletic career, I struggled with injuries that taught me the importance of training smart, maintaining balance, and caring for both body and mind.
Over time, I’ve built on my athletic background and education to refine how I help people beyond the world of competitive sports. My focus now is on helping busy professionals and everyday individuals reclaim their confidence, energy, and strength—mentally, physically, and emotionally—without adding extra stress or time to their day. I believe in using challenges and daily pressures as fuel for positive change, turning stress into momentum for growth. My goal is to make fitness and health life-transformative, empowering people to perform at their best not just in the gym, but in every aspect of their lives.

Hi, I’m Adam Barboza, a trainer here at TFPF. My goal is to help people unlock their full potential—whether that means getting stronger, improving performance, or just feeling better every day.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and am currently pursuing my Master’s. My love for fitness started back in high school sports and has only grown since then. I wrestled in both high school and college and also played football and lacrosse.
Coaching allows me to share my passion for movement and the discipline I learned through years of athletics. I love seeing people realize what they’re capable of and develop confidence through consistency and hard work. Helping others find that same sense of strength and growth is what drives me every day as a coach.
